Macro Deck is an open-source macro pad for Windows, macOS and Linux. You organise your setup into profiles and folders and fill them with widgets: action buttons, sliders, media controls, weather displays and more. Then you use it from your phone, tablet, a browser or compatible hardware.

Macro Deck 3 is in active development

Some functionality is incomplete or unstable, and this guide is still being written.

• Updates: update modes, automatic installs and what’s new after an update.
• Backups: back up, restore, and move your setup to another computer.
• AI clients: let Claude, VS Code and other AI assistants work with your setup.
• Troubleshooting: fixes for common problems.
• Compatibility: supported systems, devices and browsers.
• Recommended devices: real devices that work well as a deck.
